As a blog focused on interior design, we are dedicated to presenting original content and giving credit where it is due. Our policy outlines how copyright owners can report alleged infringements and how users can dispute a takedown notice.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on behalf of one, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to us. This notice should claim that content available on our site infringes upon your copyright. Please ensure your notice contains all the elements listed below to allow for proper processing.

Required Elements for a DMCA Takedown Notice

For a DMCA notice to be valid, it must include the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. For example, include the title of the article, image, or design concept.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access disabled. Provide specific URLs where the material appears on sgci.ae, such as https://www.sgci.ae/article-title-example or https://www.sgci.ae/image-location.jpg.
  • Contact information for the complaining party. This includes your mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-Notification Process

If your content was removed from sgci.ae due to a copyright infringement claim, you may submit a counter-notification. This allows you to dispute the claim if you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.

Required Elements for a DMCA Counter-Notification

For a counter-notification to be valid, it must include the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled. Include the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district (or, if you are outside the United States, to any judicial district where Stylish Global Creations Interiors may be found). You must also accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Stylish Global Creations Interiors will terminate access to our services for users who are repeat copyright infringers. We consider a “repeat infringer” someone who has been notified of infringing activity more than once. We will take appropriate action in compliance with the DMCA and other applicable laws.
